We’ve revamped Voice Effects for even better results!
Voice Effects add personality, tone, and emotion to your dialogue, helping every word your characters speak come alive when you publish your story to SoCreate Storyteller.
How it works:
Click on the action or dialogue where you want the voice effect to be implemented.
Place your cursor at the spot you want it to play.
Click the sound icon, then select “Add Voice Effect,” and a drop-down menu will appear.
Choose from a drop-down menu of effects or select Custom to describe your own.
You’ll find a ton of new options to choose from, all neatly organized into categories: emotional tones, reactions, volume & energy, pacing & rhythm, accents & dialects, archetypes & roles, and speech styles.
💡Tip: For the best accent results, write the line the way you want it pronounced.
Example: “Yeeee haaaaaa! That right there was the way you lose the fuzz, Jesus! There’s an ol’ dirt road up yawnder behind the quicky slurp. Follow me, would ya!”
Custom sounds are AI-generated from your description, so the more detail you provide, the more accurate and immersive it will sound.
Example: “Laughs and snorts”
A single stream item can include more than one voice effect.
