The SoCreate Weekly Museletter
Try a New Name on For Size; 3 Exclusive Features to Level Up Your Writing Game; 10 Prompts to Get Unstuck
Hey SoCreators,
It feels like we’ve turned on the faucet of new features this past month, launching something new every week to improve your writing experience. Most of these features are exclusive to SoCreate – tools you won’t find anywhere else, and certainly not on a single platform.
We’re building the most powerful storytelling tool ever, after all, so keep your eyes on this weekly update because we’re not done yet!
Get up to speed on the latest below.
Introducing SoCreate Personas!
Nom de plume? It’s no problem in SoCreate.
With our latest Personas feature, you can write, export your script, or give feedback under a pen name. Add up to 10 personas and easily switch between them to tell your amazing stories.
You can choose which persona is authoring your story as you create new projects in SoCreate. Your exported script will use that name.
Even more exciting? Soon, we’ll release Writer Profiles – think IMDb or LinkedIn profile pages for writers. When this feature drops, you can choose to have a public profile for each of your Personas.
If you want to try a new genre but are worried about hurting your brand as a romance writer, create a persona and release your story using it.
Sign in to try it now!

This week, we’re diving into a tense situation where there seems to be no right answers.
Location: Inside (INT) – Small Apartment Living Room
Characters: Claire (35, the accused), Sarah (33, her best friend)
Set the Scene: Claire sits nervously in her small, cluttered living room. The authorities have accused her of a crime she didn’t commit—breaking into a high-profile politician’s office and stealing sensitive documents. The evidence against her seems damning, but Claire knows she’s innocent. However, she can’t reveal her alibi to the police without exposing a dangerous secret.
Prompt: In this scene, Claire confides in her best friend, Sarah, explaining what she’s being accused of and why she can’t share her alibi with the authorities. What is the true reason behind her silence, and how does she explain the impossible situation to her friend? End the scene with a cliffhanger that leaves the audience wondering what Claire will do next.
That's it for this week's Museletter! We hope it inspired you to write. Your stories are important, and every sentence you add brings you one step closer to a finished story you can share with the world!
