The SoCreate Weekly Museletter
SoCreate Gives You This New Superpower, the Easiest Way to Get Feedback on Your Script for FREE, and 6 Unique Jobs for Aspiring Writers
Hey SoCreators,
It’d be an understatement to just say we’re “really excited” about this week’s feature announcement. Long a pain point for writers trying to build their careers, we’re about to arm you with a game-changing tool that puts a TON of power back in your hands. We won’t stall any longer – read on to read our announcement!
SoCreate Stats: Your New Screenwriting Superpower
Ever pondered what transpires after you click “send” on that screenplay that you’ve just poured your heart into? 🤔
Yeah. Us, too.
That’s why we invented Stats, now available on any SoCreate project.
With SoCreate Stats, you have a new superpower:
See if and when someone reads your script
Learn where readers are getting stuck, what scenes they’re enjoying, and where they’re dropping off
View all comments and reactions in a single pane, sorted by reviewer
Many other companies have attempted this, but miss the mark by allowing “anonymous” PDF downloads and no visibility into what happens when that anonymous person is in possession of your script. Unless you hear back, there’s little to learn about where you can improve the story or what steps to take next. It’s like, “Cool! Now what …”
You deserve better, and your story deserves better, too.
Stop wondering and waiting. SoCreate Stats is your new superpower. Don’t send off another script without it!
Just upload or write your script in SoCreate, then generate a link to your script and send it out to start seeing Stats right away.
ICYMI: Easily Get Feedback on Your Script From the SoCreate Community
Last week, we announced the launch of our latest feature: Community Feedback!
This new feature, built right into your SoCreate dashboard, allows you to share your script directly with other SoCreate members for feedback.
It’s all part of our mission to build a community of writers helping writers. And what’s better? It’s currently available in all plan tiers.
Why is Community Feedback a game-changer for writers?
Gain diverse perspectives from a wide range of voices, helping you spot strengths and areas for improvement that you might have missed.
Receive constructive criticism on exactly what you need help with by tailoring your requests.
Get motivated with positive reinforcement and build confidence in your work through supportive peer reviews.
Enhance your critical thinking by giving and receiving feedback, a valuable skill for any writer.
Connect with other writers, share ideas, and potentially spark collaborations that could lead to new creative projects.
Forget paying for feedback or making desperate pleas on other platforms for someone to read your script.
And remember, you don’t have to rely solely on the SoCreate Community for feedback. If you already share your work with another writing community, say, on Facebook or Reddit, you can generate a link to your story using our Community Feedback feature. This keeps all your notes in one place.
Ready to elevate your script? Here’s how to start requesting feedback today.
Open the story you want to share.
Click the sharing icon in the upper right-hand corner.
Click “Request Feedback” and then “Select Recipient: SoCreate Community & the World.”
Your Story will be added to the Community Feedback panel in every SoCreate writer’s dashboard, where writers can start giving feedback right away!

This week, we’re exploring a deeply emotional moment set in the picturesque Scottish Highlands. Get ready to for a heartfelt scene!
Location: Inside (INT) – A Cozy Cottage in the Scottish Highlands
Characters: Margaret (60s, mother), Ian (30s, her son)
Set the Scene: The sun is setting over the rolling hills outside, casting a golden glow into the small, rustic cottage. Inside, Margaret lies in bed, her strength fading. Ian sits by her side, holding her hand, knowing that his time with her is slipping away.
Prompt: As the evening shadows lengthen, Margaret gathers her remaining strength to reveal a long-kept secret to Ian, one that will change his understanding of their family forever. Write a scene that captures the raw emotion of this moment, the weight of Margaret’s revelation, and Ian’s reaction as he processes the truth.
That's it for this week's Museletter! We hope it inspired you to write. Your stories are important, and every sentence you add brings you one step closer to a finished story you can share with the world!
